User preferences for TBX are stored in the "My Profile" section of the site. To access and update this information, scroll to bottom of the navigation bar along the left of the screen, click your email and select "My Profile":
From the Edit Profile window, you can change your password or your Certificate number. Please note: o change your email or IA Name, you must call Customer Support at (540)217-4471.
From the Edit Company Info window, you can (1) change your address, (2) change your phone number, (3) Load your company logo so that it will show on your invoices, quotes, work orders and logbook records and (4) change your company name. Please note: in order for logos to show, you must also turn on the setting "Display Company Name and Logo" which is explained below.
From the Currency/Tax Settings window, you can (1) Change the currency of your account, (2) Change how you display your currency, (3) Turn on Sales Tax, (4) Turn on the functionality to auto-calculate Sales Tax, and (5) Set a default Sales Tax rate.
Sales Tax - this is a default setting for invoices and quotes/estimates.
If turned on:
- Default Sales Tax Rate will be imported to all invoices and quotes/estimates upon their creation and
- Auto-Calculate Sales Tax setting will be turned on. You may turn it off if you do not wish invoices or quotes/estimates to auto-calculate sales tax.
- Auto-calculate Sales Tax setting will be imported to all invoices and quotes/estimates upon their creation.
- Sales Tax Rate in invoice can be edited in the individual invoice or quote/estimate.
- Auto-calculate Sales Tax setting can be changed in the individual invoice or quote/estimate.
If turned off:
- Default Sales Tax Rate will not be imported to all invoices and quotes/estimates upon their creation and
- Auto-calculate Sales Tax will be set to off in all invoices and quotes/estimates upon their creation.
- You may turn on Auto-calculate Sales Tax as well as add a Sales Tax rate to any individual invoice or quote/estimate.
From the Account Settings Window, you can (1) choose to display Company Name and Logo on invoices, quotes, estimates, logbook records, work orders, (2) turn inventory tracking on or off. Note: once "On", we do not recommend turning it "Off"
