Searching a propeller in TBX

Can't find the propeller you are looking for?  Here are some helpful search tips.

If you can't find the propeller you are looking for, here are some tips that might help.

  1. Manufacturer name: Try searching without a manufacturer name.  TCDS Holders can change hands and the manufacturer name you are accustomed to using may no longer be valid.  Manufacturer is always an OPTIONAL field and should only be used to narrow down search results.
  2. Propeller Model Name too specific: If you are searching for a propeller, you may be including the complete name or the hub.  Try broadening your search.  For example:  You are looking for Hartzell PHC-C3YD-2, enter PHC-C3Y in the Model Name field.
  3. Propeller is not type certificated:  TBX only lists propellers that have type certification.  If you need to add a propeller that does not have type certification, search "exp" in the Model Name field.
