[AD Reporting](https://help.airworthy.com/ad-reporting?hsLang=en) June 19, 2026 # How to Update Component Hours from an AD Compliance Report ## To update the hours of a component linked to your aircraft profile, open the existing AD compliance report and make the changes directly within the report. Repeat these steps to update the hours for the other components in the report. ![](https://help.airworthy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-18-2026-06-46-53-5126-PM.png?width=670&height=284&name=image-png-Jun-18-2026-06-46-53-5126-PM.png) **Aircraft Profile Hours are not visible, why?** To update hours on AD Compliance Report component, the component must be linked to an Aircraft Profile Component. If you report is not linked to an Aircraft Profile, you will not see an Aircraft Profile Hours box.  To link an AD Compliance Report to an Aircraft Profile, [click here](https://help.airworthy.com/linking-an-ad-report-to-an-aircraft-profile?hsLang=en). Once your AD Compliance Report is linked to an Aircraft Profile, you should will have the ability to link the AD Compliance Report component to an Aircraft Profile component. ![](https://help.airworthy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-19-2026-10-32-32-7314-AM.png?width=670&height=264&name=image-png-Jun-19-2026-10-32-32-7314-AM.png) Select the **Aircraft Profile component** from the **dropdown**, then click **Link Profile Component** button. ![](https://help.airworthy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-19-2026-10-33-50-9387-AM.png?width=605&height=238&name=image-png-Jun-19-2026-10-33-50-9387-AM.png) Aircraft Profile Hours will be available for you to update once the Aircraft Profile component is linked to the AD Compliance Report component. ![](https://help.airworthy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-19-2026-10-36-10-5343-AM.png?width=615&height=257&name=image-png-Jun-19-2026-10-36-10-5343-AM.png) An **Aircraft Profile component** can **only** be **linked** to **one AD Compliance Report** component.  If there are no available Aircraft Profile components, the Aircraft Profile Hours box will not be available.
