Creating Logbook Service Records (LSRs)
TBX offers the ability to easily create LSRs
One of the major benefits of TBX is the ability to create quarter-page or full page logbook service records (maintenance records) as required per FAR 91.417 and 43.9 / 43.11. Our system pulls in all relevant aircraft information to save time and improve accuracy.
Logbook records can be created on the fly or from a work order. If created from any item tied to an aircraft profile, that LSR will be tied to that aircraft. All LSRs can be found under the lefthand navigation menu under Forms/Checklists -> Logbook Record:
To create a Logbook Record from a Work Order, open any Work Order and select Tools -> Convert to Logbook Service Record:
This action will:
- Create a new logbook service record (LSR) with customer name, address, airframe make and model, tail number, serial number
- TTAF, Tach, TTE, TTP, Hobbs, and Misc Time will be added to Hours field where the user can select appropriate time
- All corrective actions, discrepancies and parts will appear on newly created Logbook Service Record (LSR), unless unchecked below.
- If a discrepancy has been canceled, it will not be added to the Logbook Service Record (LSR), nor will any parts linked to that discrepancy.
The Logbook Service Record editor will default to "Full Page style", but can be configured to Avery 5168/8168 quarter page style if required.
Discrepancies and corrective actions will be pulled in automatically. Users can also select from saved "Maintenance Releases" to also ingest saved templates of text to help save time. Users can also add a new maintenance release (on the fly) for future use.
