Creating Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICAs)

Users can create an ICA or append to a 337

ICA are intended to provide documentation of recommended methods, inspections, processes, and procedures to maintain the airworthiness of aircraft, aircraft engines, propellers, and installed articles.

When filling out a 337, users can create an ICA by clicking on the "+ ICA Checklist" button where you put in a a Description of the Work Performed ("Section 8").

This will prompt users if they want to simply append the ICA to Section 8 (free form text) or fill out the Robust ICA Checklist as per the FAA Handbook.

By creating a separate ICA checklist, you will automatically link that ICA to an aircraft profile if the 337 was created from an aircraft profile. The ICA form editor will be pulled up for users to fill in all appropriate checklist items, 1-16.
