[AD Report Prep](https://help.airworthy.com/ad-reporting?hsLang=en#ad-report-prep) March 23, 2026 # Create an AD Report from an Aircraft Profile ## The easiest way to create AD reports is directly from an aircraft profile Open an Aircraft Profile page and click the "**Actions**" button.  From the dropdown, select "**+ Create New Report**" ![](https://help.airworthy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-04-2025-05-48-30-8350-PM.png?width=670&height=340&name=image-png-Jun-04-2025-05-48-30-8350-PM.png) The aircraft and components from the Aircraft Profile show on the AD Report Prep page. We recommend adding Suggesting Appliance ADs first - these are the appliances that are certificated. Click the "**Action**"Button in the **Appliance Info Section** and select "**Suggested Appliance ADs**" from the dropdown.  You could instead choose "Select Appliance ADs" which will take to to the full list of all Appliance ADs. ![](https://help.airworthy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-04-2025-05-52-46-2226-PM.png?width=670&height=310&name=image-png-Jun-04-2025-05-52-46-2226-PM.png)  Check those that apply and then go back up to the top of the page and click "**+ Appliance ADs**": ![](https://help.airworthy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-04-2025-05-53-51-9020-PM.png?width=670&height=394&name=image-png-Jun-04-2025-05-53-51-9020-PM.png) Fill out the AD information below in the report for Date/Hours at Comp; Next Due; Certs and method of compliance for all ADs.
