Creating an AD Report from an Aircraft Profile
The easiest way to create AD reports is directly from an aircraft profile
When you are looking at an Aircraft Profile, the AD Toolbox gives you the ability to create new AD reports with the click of a button. Simply click on "Create New Report" in the AD compliance report section:
First, ensure your engine and props have the proper hours and S/N if needed by clicking the "edit" pen next to the engines:
Next, add appliances to the aircraft. We recommend adding Suggesting Appliance ADs first. Select "Suggested Appliance ADs" below the Engine and Propeller info to bring up the Suggest Appliance AD list.
The suggested appliance AD list filters all appliances that are certificated to the aircraft for quick lookup. Check those that apply and then click "Add Appliance ADs":
Fill out the AD information below in the report for Date/Hours at Comp; Next Due; Certs and method of compliance for all ADs. You are also able to change the sorting (new to old), delete multiple ADs, Duplicate ADs, and Omit ADs.
Once you've filled it all out, you are able to print the reports by navigating to the left navigation bar and selecting "Print Options" and then the style you prefer (FAA Style is a popular choice):
This will produce a report that you can now print for your records:
AD Reports are highly customizable. See our other articles on how to add cover sheets and Notes, Manually add appliance info (or STCs), and saving Methods of Compliance to save time.
