We give users the ability to fill in initial weight and balance forms and update existing weight and balance forms as items are added (or removed) on aircraft.
To create a W&B form, open an aircraft profile, navigate to the 'Weight & Balance' section, and select the 'actions' button. Then, select the "+ New Weigh with CG" option from the dropdown:
This will open up the Weight with CG form allowing you to add weigh points at the scale reading with arms to calculate moments. For example, for a BN-2A Islander, our W&B might look like this:
In the above example, we subtracted the useable fuel to determine an empty weight for the aircraft. If we add the Max Gross Weight (as per the TCDS) of 6200 lbs, we can calculate the useful load:
You can add customer identification information, weighing process, and other equipment info as required. To print the W&B form, click on the Print button at the top of the page:
