One of the benefits of software is the ability to reduce duplication of effort. In this case, maintenance techs can perform all the work in the work order and then convert these to a logbook service record (LSR). To do this, open any work order and select Tools -> Convert to Logbook Service Record:
You will be prompted if you'd like to include the discrepancy and/or parts (including the discrepancy will bring in the discrepancy AND the corrective action together). You'll also be allowed to select all discrepancies or simply a subset of discrepancies. Once selected, it will pull up the logbook service record for you to edit:
