Building a Quote/Estimate from Scratch

Users can build quotes/estimates into their workflows

There are two ways to build a quote into a workflow. We always recommend users build an aircraft profile first, and then from here can decide on the best course of action:

  1. Quote -> Work Order -> Invoice -> Logbook Service Record
  2. Work Order ->Quote / Work Order->Invoice / Work Order-> Logbook Service Record

You can build your first quote either through the aircraft profile or selecting Quotes/Estimates on the Navigation bar on the left:

For the first, build the quote by adding a list of discrepancies/work to do and hit Save and Return to Quote.

From here, you can print the quote to pdf by clicking on Tools -> Print Quote which will create a pdf quote:

The quote will then be created for saving / email approval:

Once the customer approves the quote, you can convert this quote to a work order by selecting Tools -> Convert to Work Order:

Now, the work order is ready for you to do the work. This work order can then be converted into downstream workflows as required (invoice, logbook record).
