[Aircraft Profiles](https://help.airworthy.com/getting-started?hsLang=en#aircraft-profiles) October 16, 2026 # Aircraft Profile Hours ## How to change/update your Hours for your Airframe, Engine(s), and Prop(s), and Equipment Navigate to the **Aircraft Profile** that you want to update hours for. Select the **blue pencil icon** next to **Aircraft Time** **![](https://help.airworthy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-15-2026-02-27-37-4348-PM.png?width=670&height=358&name=image-png-Jun-15-2026-02-27-37-4348-PM.png)** From the **Edit Time** page, you have the following options: - [Adding](https://help.airworthy.com/aircraft-profile-hours#add)an hours type to an aircraft profile component - [Deleting](https://help.airworthy.com/aircraft-profile-hours#delete) an hours type from an aircraft profile component - [Changing the order](https://help.airworthy.com/aircraft-profile-hours#reorder) of an hours type for an aircraft profile component. - [Updating](https://help.airworthy.com/aircraft-profile-hours#update) engine, propeller, and equipment times based on the airframe times. - [Manually updating](https://help.airworthy.com/aircraft-profile-hours#manual) hours and notes for an hours type **Adding New Hours Type:** Scroll to the Component that you want to add the new hours to. Then select **+ Add Hours Type ![](https://help.airworthy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-15-2026-03-13-45-8531-PM.png?width=670&height=136&name=image-png-Jun-15-2026-03-13-45-8531-PM.png)** Select the **type of hours** you want to add from the dropdown ![](https://help.airworthy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-15-2026-03-20-47-2600-PM.png?width=513&height=397&name=image-png-Jun-15-2026-03-20-47-2600-PM.png) Add the **hours** and **notes** and then click the **Save** button to the right ![](https://help.airworthy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-15-2026-03-21-51-7445-PM.png?width=670&height=68&name=image-png-Jun-15-2026-03-21-51-7445-PM.png) **Deleting Hours Type:** To **delete** an hours type from an aircraft profile component, click the **trash can button** next to the hours type you want to delete. ![](https://help.airworthy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-20-2026-11-20-10-7839-AM.png?width=636&height=197&name=image-png-Jun-20-2026-11-20-10-7839-AM.png) Click **Delete This Hours Entry** button to complete the delete process. ![](https://help.airworthy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-20-2026-11-21-08-6056-AM.png?width=522&height=272&name=image-png-Jun-20-2026-11-21-08-6056-AM.png) **IMPORTANT**: Next Due Items in the Next Due Tracker will be affected. **Reorder Hours:** To change the ordering of any of your hours type: Click the **down arrow** to move the hours type down Click the **up arrow** to move the hours type up. ![](https://help.airworthy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-15-2026-03-26-52-7003-PM.png?width=670&height=204&name=image-png-Jun-15-2026-03-26-52-7003-PM.png) **Update Hours from Airframe Toggle (updating engine, propeller, and equipment hours based on the airframe hours):** The **Update Hours from Airframe toggle** is designed to help save you time when updating hours across all aircraft profile components.  **Toggle** the **Update Hours from Airframe** switch **on**. ![](https://help.airworthy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Jun-15-2026-02-58-43-5250-PM.png?width=670&height=124&name=undefined-Jun-15-2026-02-58-43-5250-PM.png) When **Update Hours from Aircraft** is **on**, matching hours types in the engine, propeller, and equipment will be **updated** by **adding the value of the change (the delta)** in the hours type in airframe hours. **Example:**  If the value of airframe ACTT is 10 and you update it to be 15, the value of the change, 5, will be added to any TSN hours type in engine, propeller and equipment. ![](https://help.airworthy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-20-2026-02-33-20-7762-PM.png?width=512&height=501&name=image-png-Jun-20-2026-02-33-20-7762-PM.png) Any updated hours type field will be disabled (you cannot alter), and the value of the change will appear directly below the newly calculated time. To **accept** these **changes**, click **Save Changes** button. ![](https://help.airworthy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-20-2026-02-36-25-4050-PM.png?width=639&height=109&name=image-png-Jun-20-2026-02-36-25-4050-PM.png) If you **do not want** to **accept** these changes, **toggle off** the **Update Hours from Airframe**.  This will restore the original value of the times in engine, propellers, and equipment. ![](https://help.airworthy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-20-2026-02-38-43-7166-PM.png?width=640&height=170&name=image-png-Jun-20-2026-02-38-43-7166-PM.png) To **manually update hours** for each aircraft profile component, make sure the **Update Hours from Airframe** is **toggled off**. Change the value of any times fields or notes fields and click Save Changes button.
